Job Description:
Billing is the documentary aspect of the work done, through which payments will be made to the person concerned within the contract and accountable to finish the work. Incomplete billing. will cause losses to the contractor or the client. Hence, bills are to be excellent and obvious at any stage of the work. Bills from the work sites are to be prepared in a standard printed format. Here the billing engineer roles and responsibilities along with the job description will be understood.
Role & Responsibilities
Certification of Running account bills Non Tendered Items rate recommendation for approval along with analgising the reasons for NT Review of BOQ specifications, documents, etc., for the respective site Work orders. Review of MAR s, RFI, Site directives raised by Site team and follow up for closer
Attending various issues related to bill certification. Preparation of Variation statement with respect to Work order as per GFC
Should be convergent with relevant IS codes, Tender clauses, specifications, etc., Should have minimum knowledge on Present Prevailing Market rates, Tender conditions
Should have worked for multiple projects or Large / complex projects Review of tender document, general conditions, payment terms, etc., along with
highlighting the special conditions of the contract. Should be excellent command over MS-Excel, Word etc.
Knowledge of making RA Bills, i.e. Supply Erection, retention & withhold amount
reconciliation statement. Should be excellent in Daily Progress Report, Store Data, Vendor / Petty Contractor
Financial / material reconciliation statement.
Should be excellent command to making Petty Contractor RA Bills & labour payment bill
