Job description:  Job Title: Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (US Mortgage Process)

Package: Fixed Annual pay (2.40 Lacs- 4.80 Lacs) + Incentives

 What You’ll Do:   We’re searching for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer assistant. This position will play a vital part in communicating with prospective, current and past clients (Loan Applicants), real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters to nurture relationships and develop new business. You will facilitate the completion of loan applications, collect, analyse, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for client first impressions, mortgage application review & analysis, pre-qualifying client’s mortgage status and maintaining contact with clients throughout their home search.

Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant Responsibilities:  • Serve as the primary contact and liaison with clients.  • Call & follow up with the prospective lead. Lead will be provided through CRM.  • Coordinate, explain the product feature and assist to complete the loan application  • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verification and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork  • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator  • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service  • Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed  • Assist customers on how to e-sign and e-consent when needed

• Assist Mortgage Bankers and Loan Processors collecting income documents (i.e. W-2 and pay stubs)  • Answering incoming calls of clients  . • Check emails of assigned loan officer & reply  • Following up on questions from Loan Processors to allow them to focus on just processing  • Keeping Loan Officer updated on expiration dates and status on loans currently in the pipeline  • Verify all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and coordinate with client for any discrepancies

 Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills  • Strong interpersonal skills   • Graduate. College degree in finance or banking preferred  • At least 2 years of professional office environment/industry experience preferred, preferably as an administrative or mortgage assistant.  • Possess an understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills

• Attention to detail.  • Computer proficiency required including Google Suite/MS Office; some CRM, LOS, and other proprietary mortgage software preferred  • Excellent customer service skills
