Education: Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Ceramic Engineering
Exp: 10 – 15 yrs with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience / CTC to be offered: 13 – 15 lacs inclusive 15% variable
Reporting: Plant Head: Team Size: Minimum size of 40 and above (including direct & indirect) Direct 3 shift in charge and rest are indirect
Target Industry: Continuous process industry – cement, ceramic, glass, steel etc – Current company or Ex company
We can target 2nd in line of the hierarchy or 1st in line of the hierarchy He will handle 3 shifts: Man + Machine + Methods – exposure is must
Team handling & training is important – should have handle large team
Atleast 5 yrs experience in managing the Continuous manufacturing Industry – MANDATORY
Exp 12-15 yrs – but handling 3 shifts for atleast 3 yrs atleast. How he manages process breakdown //problem-solving / How to do shift production planning/ manpower planning
Language: Gujarati language is preferable, Hindi is mandatory
The role of Manager – Production is to provide overall leadership to the Production team and accountable to targets on EHS, Production, efficiencies, quality, Uptime, on time delivery in line with sales plans & at optimum. manufacturing cost. Drive continuous improvements through O E / WCM initiatives.
P R I N C I P A L A C C O U N T A B I L I T I E S : ( B U S I N E S S / P E O P L E / C U S T O M E R / P R O C E S S ): · Ensure adherence to work permits / Job Safety by generating awareness & training & adherence of PPE. · Adherence to Environmental Standards & initiate measures for recycling. · Reviewing the production plan for both mainline, Rigid Pipe Section Line and Briquette plant · Develop & monitor Dashboard to track KPI on SQDCME. · Ensure & Control Production Plan as per SAP. · Coordinate with quality assurance and Customer Service Dept. to implement optimized plan for best yield & customer satisfaction through best quality & timely delivery. · Ensure daily update of MIS with zero deviation. · Be part of the team to do root cause analysis & CAPA for quality complaints, defects & equipment breakdowns. · Lead continual improvements to improve Quality, skill, operating costs and Customer Satisfaction · Ensure equipment healthy by ensuring basic AM checks & timely requests for maintenance service. · Coordinate with Maintenance & ensure implementation of Preventive Maintenance Plan / schedules as per due dates and SAP. · Plan yearly Capex & general budget, coordinating with Plant Head – Silvassa and ensure implementation within budget and agreed timelines. · Review, monitor & ensure availability of critical production consumables within the budget. · Plan & organize on the job training to keep the team updated with improvements /unique problem resolution/ multi skilling etc. · Ensure to strictly adhere QMS plan & comply SOPs. · Conduct new products & process trials timely and make it operational on approval. · Conduct Process, Product & Safety Audits at defined intervals and implement the action plans within due dates. · Ensure 5 ‘S’ & general discipline & follow code of conduct on shop-floor. · Lead by example to ensure punctuality, high moral & team work.
