Position: IT Administrator
Summary:
The IT Administrator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hardware and software management within the organization. They will be the primary person responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading all IT equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT administration and possess strong technical skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Management:    – Install, configure, and maintain all computer hardware, peripherals, and network equipment.    – Ensure all hardware is functional and well-maintained.    – Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues promptly.    – Coordinate hardware repairs or replacements as needed.    – Keep an inventory of hardware assets and manage procurement requests.
2. Software Management:     – Install, configure, and update all software applications required by the organization.    – Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and conflicts.    – Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.    – Collaborate with software vendors for updates, upgrades, and technical support.    – Maintain knowledge of the latest software releases and technologies.
3. System Administration:     – Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems.    – Monitor system performance and ensure optimal efficiency.    – Perform routine system backups and ensure data integrity.    – Implement security measures to protect systems and data.    – Stay updated with the latest security threats and implement necessary safeguards.
4. Help Desk Support:     – Provide technical support and troubleshoot user inquiries or issues promptly.    – Assist users with software installations, configurations, and updates.    – Maintain a help desk ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of requests.    – Train users on basic IT procedures and software applications.
Qualifications:
– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role. – In-depth knowledge of hardware and software systems used in a corporate environment.
– Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. – Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and databases. – Familiarity with security protocols and best practices. – Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills. – Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. – Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Salary: The salary for this position will range from 20,000 to 30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
