Role Tasks Theme and Plugin Development
Design and develop custom themes to meet client branding and functionality requirements. Create or customize plugins to add custom features and integrations as per project specifications.
Website Architecture
Plan and develop the website structure, including layout, navigation, and user interface design. Ensure the site architecture is scalable and supports content management requirements.
Front-end and Back-end Development
Implement front-end design with a focus on user experience, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. Develop and maintain the back-end infrastructure, including database management and server integration.
Performance Optimization
Optimize website speed and performance, ensuring quick load times and smooth functionality. Implement caching solutions, image optimization, and efficient coding practices to enhance site performance.
Security and Maintenance: Implement security measures to protect websites from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins, and perform routine website maintenance.
SEO Best Practices: Ensure that the website is optimized for search engines through proper use of meta tags, structured data, and adherence to SEO guidelines. Collaborate with SEO specialists to refine website elements for better search engine ranking.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to clients and team members for any WordPress-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and layout.
Content Management: Work with content creators to ensure that content is published in an effective and visually appealing manner. Train clients on using the WordPress backend for content updates and basic maintenance tasks.
Skills: Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Strong understanding of WordPress core, theme development, and plugin architecture. Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation. Knowledge of RESTful API integration and Ajax for dynamic content updates.
Proficiency in version control systems like Git. Experience with website performance tools and techniques.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of current web development standards and best practices. Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles. Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design fundamentals. Knowledge of website accessibility standards and regulations. SEO principles and how they apply to web development.
